Kaishan News | Another Key Move in Kaishan's Globalization Strategy — Turkish Izmir Compressor Plant Completed and Put into Operation
On the afternoon of June 26, 2026, local time, the completion and commissioning ceremony of Kaishan Group's Turkish Izmir Compressor Plant (KCT) was grandly held in Izmir on the shores of the Aegean Sea.
Cao Kejian, Chairman and President of Kaishan Holding Group Co., Ltd., and Hu Yizhong, Executive Vice President; Shi Yong, Quality Director of Kaishan Group; Dave George, President of Kaishan Compressor USA (KCA), Henry Phillips, Marketing Director, and Brandon Dial, Sales Director; David Stibi, CEO of Kaishan Compressor Europe (KCE), and Daniel Sax, Sales Director, among others, attended the event. Sila Gungortekin, General Manager of the Izmir plant, presided over the event. Senior officials from the Ministry of Trade and Customs of the Republic of Türkiye and the Izmir Free Trade Zone Authority attended the event.
Located in the İZBAŞ Free Trade Zone in Izmir, the plant covers an area of approximately 20,000 square meters, with a building area of approximately 13,000 square meters. The plant has complete air compressor manufacturing capabilities, covering the entire manufacturing process, including air end manufacturing, complete unit assembly production, and testing. This is the third plant established overseas by Kaishan Group and an important manufacturing base serving the North American and European markets. Once fully operational, the plant is expected to achieve an annual output value of approximately USD 50 million.
At the ceremony, Chairman Cao Kejian delivered a speech. He pointed out that the completion and commissioning of the Turkish Izmir plant is an important measure for Kaishan Group to strengthen and optimize its global industrial chain layout, and a key move in the group's implementation of its globalization strategy. At present, the group's overseas strategy is advancing smoothly. KCA sales continue to maintain rapid growth. In May alone, both order volume and revenue continued to hit new highs. According to CAGI data, the company's market share in the North American screw compressor market continues to increase. Meanwhile, KCE's business has good momentum and is growing steadily. Against this backdrop, these achievements fully validate the correctness of the group's globalization strategy and strengthen confidence in further improving the global industrial layout.
Chairman Cao emphasized that amid the current complex and volatile international trade environment and rising uncertainty, further improving Kaishan's global industrial chain and supply chain system will not only help enhance the company's ability to respond to market fluctuations and external risks, but also help strengthen the autonomy and controllability of key links and the level of supply chain security, thereby providing a solid guarantee for the smooth implementation of the group's internationalization strategy. With the completion and commissioning of the Izmir plant, the plant will gradually become an important manufacturing base for Kaishan Group serving the North American and European high-end markets, providing solid support for the company to achieve sustained and steady growth in these two core markets.
In his speech, KCA President Dave George said that as an important extension of Kaishan's global manufacturing base, the completion and commissioning of the Izmir plant further improves the company's supply chain layout and enhances global manufacturing synergy. At the same time, he warmly welcomed the colleagues of Kaishan Compressor Türkiye (KCT) to the Kaishan family, and said that KCA will work closely with the KCT team in quality control, production operations, and market development to jointly ensure that high-standard, high-quality products are delivered from Türkiye to the U.S. market.
