Kaishan Heavy Industry’s KT25 Integrated Open-Pit DTH Drilling Rig Lands at Husab Uranium Mine in Namibia, with First Batch Accepted and Put into Operation
Recently, good news came from the site of the Husab Uranium Mine project in Namibia, Africa: the KT25 integrated open-pit DTH drilling rig project of Kaishan Heavy Industry is progressing steadily. The first batch of equipment has already been put into use at the mine site, the second batch is being transported to the site, and the third batch has officially been shipped!
As a benchmark mining project in Namibia, the Husab Uranium Mine has complex geological conditions and stringent requirements for the reliability, power performance, and environmental adaptability of rock drilling equipment. The KT25 integrated open-pit DTH drilling rig delivered this time is a flagship model developed by Kaishan Heavy Industry for large open-pit mines. With powerful drilling capability, a stable chassis structure, and an excellent dust-proof and heat-resistant design, it can readily handle the harsh working conditions of high temperatures and heavy dust at the mine and ensure continuous and efficient drilling operations.
During the project implementation, Kaishan Heavy Industry's after-sales service team efficiently completed equipment installation and commissioning, performance testing, and hands-on operator training. All performance indicators of the first batch of equipment met the standards, and the equipment successfully passed acceptance and was officially put into production at the Husab Uranium Mine. From the first batch being put into production to subsequent batches being shipped overseas in succession, the continuous fulfillment of commitments demonstrates Kaishan Heavy Industry's stable manufacturing and delivery capabilities, and also reflects customers' full trust in Kaishan's product quality and localized overseas services.
