Working Principle

The Kaishan K30 DTH drill bit operates on the principle of down-the-hole percussive drilling. High-pressure air is delivered through the drill string to the DTH hammer, which directly drives the bit's piston. The piston strikes the bit's shank with high-frequency impacts, transferring energy to the tungsten carbide buttons that penetrate the rock. Simultaneously, the air flows through the bit's flushing holes, removing cuttings from the hole bottom and cooling the bit. The bit rotates slowly via the drill rig's rotation unit, indexing the buttons to fresh rock surfaces with each impact. This combination of impact and rotation creates efficient rock breakage. The K30's design ensures optimal energy transfer from the hammer to the rock, while its robust construction withstands the harsh conditions of drilling. The result is a high penetration rate, straight holes, and extended bit life, making it ideal for demanding drilling applications.

Each Kaishan K30 DTH drill bit is carefully packed in a wooden case or carton, with rust-preventive protection and secure cushioning to prevent damage during transport. Standard export packaging is suitable for sea and air freight. For bulk orders, bits are palletized and shrink-wrapped. Container loading capacity: approximately 500-800 pieces per 20ft container depending on size. Lead time: 15-30 days after order confirmation. Ports of shipment: Shanghai, Ningbo, or as per customer request. We can also accommodate custom packaging and labeling requirements.
