Working Principle
DTH (Down-The-Hole) drill bits operate at the bottom of the drill string, directly impacting the rock with high-frequency percussion. The bit is connected to a DTH hammer, which is powered by compressed air. The hammer's piston strikes the bit's shank, transmitting energy to the tungsten carbide buttons that crush and fracture the rock. Simultaneously, the bit rotates slowly, allowing the buttons to engage fresh rock surfaces. Compressed air is directed through flushing holes in the bit to lift cuttings to the surface, keeping the hole clean. The K40 bit's design optimizes this process by ensuring efficient energy transfer, uniform button wear, and effective hole cleaning, resulting in high penetration rates and extended service life.

Each Kaishan K40 DTH drill bit is securely packed in a wooden case or carton with rust-proof protection, suitable for sea and air transport. Standard export packaging ensures safe delivery. For bulk orders, bits are palletized and shrink-wrapped. Container loading: 20ft container can hold approximately 500-800 pieces depending on size. Delivery time: 15-30 days after order confirmation. Port of shipment: Shanghai or Ningbo, China.
