Working Principle
The Kaishan K3 DTH drill bit operates on the principle of down-the-hole percussion. High-pressure air is delivered through the drill pipe to the DTH hammer, which drives the bit's piston in a rapid reciprocating motion. This piston strikes the bit's shank, transmitting powerful impact energy to the carbide buttons on the bit face. Simultaneously, the bit is rotated slowly, allowing the buttons to crush and fracture the rock. The air then flows through flushing holes in the bit, carrying rock cuttings up the annulus to the surface. This combination of impact and rotation creates efficient rock breakage, while the flushing action prevents regrinding and keeps the hole clean. The K3's design optimizes this process by ensuring uniform button loading and effective air distribution, resulting in high penetration rates and extended bit life.

Each Kaishan K3 DTH drill bit is carefully packed in a wooden case or carton, with rust-preventive coating and protective caps on threads and shanks. Standard export packaging ensures safe transport by sea or air. For bulk orders, bits are palletized and shrink-wrapped. Container loading: 20ft container can hold approximately 500-800 bits depending on size. Delivery time is 15-30 days after order confirmation. Ports of shipment: Shanghai, Ningbo, or as per customer request.
