Working Principle

The Kaishan R25 DTH drill bit operates on the principle of down-the-hole percussion. High-pressure air is supplied through the drill string to the DTH hammer, which drives the bit's piston to strike the shank repeatedly. The impact energy is transferred through the bit body to the tungsten carbide buttons, which crush and fracture the rock. Simultaneously, the air flows through the bit's flushing holes to remove cuttings from the hole bottom and cool the buttons. The spline drive shank ensures that the rotation torque from the drill rig is efficiently transmitted to the bit, allowing the buttons to index and cover the entire hole face. This combination of impact and rotation creates a fast and efficient drilling action. The R25's design optimizes air flow and energy transfer, resulting in high penetration rates and long bit life in demanding rock conditions.

Each Kaishan R25 DTH drill bit is packed in a sturdy wooden case or carton, with rust-proof paper and foam protection to prevent damage during transport. Bits are securely fastened to avoid movement. Standard export packing is suitable for sea and air freight. For bulk orders, bits can be palletized and shrink-wrapped. Container loading: 20ft container can hold approximately 500-800 pcs depending on packaging. Delivery time is typically 15-30 days after order confirmation. Ports of shipment include Ningbo, Shanghai, or as per customer request. Customized packaging and labeling are available upon request.
